…And then he went dum-dee-da-dum-dee-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-dah-dum-dum-dum-DAH!

 

Well this was fun…it started in May, with my hearing it on the radio and thinking to myself, “well, that could work…”. And so it does.

If you’re playing along, sorry about the fiendish C#-G-Bb-E in line 4! : ) Halfway through that bar, you could drop down an octave starting with the high D (and so carry on upwards through the next bar), but this arrangement, dropping an octave after the high E, sounds better to me. (Don’t you sometimes wish you had a string or two more, on both ends? Sigh…oh to have my cake and eat it, too!)
